An unforgettable song from what may be the best romantic drama in anime (plays at the end of episode 1). If you haven’t heard this song or watched the anime, I would highly, highly recommend. The characters’ expressions are done masterfully and both the dialogue and moments of silence are meaningful. The music sets the tone perfectly and overall, it’s not so much the premise of the love triangle that makes it so special but the way it plays out, steeped in emotion, innocence, naivety, good intentions, and insecurities. The main trio feels both very real and somewhat idealized, yet still compelling and captivating.
